About
Plain, verified information, built by an operator with field experience in Africa and Latin America.
Airborne Survey Tenders is a weekly worldwide digest of open tenders for special aviation services, led by airborne survey, geophysics and photogrammetry. It's built by Mavari Aviation, run by people who have operated aircraft in Africa and Latin America.
Each issue lists who is buying, what they need, where, and by when, from sources bid teams rarely have time to check. Operators find work, survey firms find partners, and contract crew find their next assignment.
How we find and check tenders
- We search official sources every week: EU TED, national portals such as France's PLACE, New Zealand GETS, South Africa eTenders and India GeM, plus the World Bank, the African Development Bank, UNGM, SAM.gov, CanadaBuys and buyer websites.
- We search in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and German, and translate titles to English.
- Every listing links to the official notice. When an official portal can't be reached, we link a named tender listing and say so.
- We never invent or guess a tender. If something changes, we update the listing.
The aircraft-fit note
Each tender has a short note written from an operator's point of view: what platform the job really needs (fixed-wing, helicopter, drone or data-only), which sensors, and what local registration or approvals usually apply. It's a first view to help you qualify bids faster, not legal or bid advice.
